Footbridge Counseling + Coaching

Hello, my name is Pete and I love bridges. Especially footbridges over water in wooded areas. They are symbolic to me of our walk through the difficulties of life. These bridges take us from where we are to where we want to be. They connect an otherwise difficult-to-pass gap before us. Sometimes, these bridges are unstable, unmaintained, and on the verge of collapse. The path is not always easy, but you don’t have to walk through the difficulties of life alone. Wherever you are today, I’m equipped and ready to walk with you.

I have devoted more than 22 years empowering others to experience healing in broken parts of their lives.

For me, there is no greater satisfaction than helping people discover new truths and insights in order to experience freedom from debilitating struggles.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in Divinity and a Masters degree in Counseling, both from Phoenix Seminary. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavior Health Examiners. License # LAC-23129.

Me, as a counselor…

I truly enjoy connecting with my clients in order to best understand the pain they are experiencing, the healing they desire, and the growth they hope for.

I believe that the counseling relationship has the potential to be one of the greatest catalysts for healthy transformation in one’s life. Grounded in a Biblical worldview, I utilize modern psychotherapies to bring about redemption, renewal, and restoration in one’s life.

As we understand God’s love, receive God’s love, and rest in God’s love, we become transformed by his love—enabling us to bring God’s love into our lives and relationships.

Our hearts tend to be in a constant state of relapse—going back to unhealthy and destructive patterns of unbelief. My interventions aim to engage the whole being (emotions, desires, imaginations, mind, body, and soul).
